Our Story
It all started in 1966 when brothers Francis and Charles Higa opened their first Zippy’s in McCully, Oahu. Credited for their strong work ethic and their ability to listen and satisfy the needs of the community by providing quality service and food that could be enjoyed in a restaurant setting or packaged to take home, the establishment quickly gained popularity. Chili, saimin, roasted chicken and ongoing specials created a strong community following and continues today with loyal customers looking for a place to enjoy and reminisce over good food from an extensive menu.
In 2001, Zippy’s was renamed “FCH Enterprises, Inc.” to create a family of brands: Napoleon’s Bakery, Food Solutions International, Zippy’s and A Catered Experience.
Today, FCH Enterprises, Inc. continues to grow and is grateful for our more than 1,300 employees who serve our community.
